Rodeo and Horsemanship

Rodeo and Horsemanship

At Caring and Sharing Skills Unlimited, we honor tradition, discipline, and confidence through our Rodeo & Horsemanship Program—a unique opportunity for youth to engage with equestrian life while building valuable life skills.

Led by the experienced and compassionate instructor Davenger, this program introduces young people to the fundamentals of horseback riding, rodeo techniques, and the responsibility that comes with caring for animals.

Program Highlights

  • Horsemanship Training
Learn grooming, saddling, riding, and safety basics while forming a bond with your horse. Instruction is hands-on, respectful, and paced to fit all experience levels.
  • Rodeo Fundamentals
Under Davenger’s guidance, participants are introduced to beginner rodeo events such as barrel racing, pole bending, and basic roping—all with a focus on safety and fun.
  • Character & Confidence Building
Youth build responsibility, patience, and courage through consistent care and interaction with horses. Each session includes moments of reflection and encouragement.
  • Life Skills Mentoring
With a mix of structured discussion and informal mentorship, Davenger helps youth build work ethic, communication, and leadership—skills that last a lifetime.
  • Animal Care & Respect
Our program teaches humane treatment of animals and the value of stewardship, fostering empathy and accountability.
